Abstract: | Two new species of Nepticulidae [Stigmella abaiella n.sp. on Pyrus communis agg. from Iran and Trifurcula (Fedalmia) sanctibenedicti n.sp. from Montserrat, Spain] are described and figures of the imagines, their genitalia and the mine (sanctibenedicti) are given. Stigmella abaiella n.sp. is a typical Stigmella species without any particularly close relationship to any of the species so far known. Trifurcula (Fedalmia) sanctibenedicti shows some obvious characters of Trifurcula (Fedalmia) alypella KLIM. on Globularia alypum L. of the Mediterranean fauna. |
