Abstract: | Stigmella stettinensis (Heinemann, 1871) is separated from a widely distributed Stigmella minusculeIla (Hemch-Schaffer, 1855) - a miner of pear-tree. The two species differ in colouration, in number of antenna1 segments and in some genitalia structures. The caterpillar of Stigmella stettinensis mines also leaves of Pyrus spp. Important characters are figured, problems of nomenclature are discussed, neotypes of the both taxa are fixed. |
