Nomenclatorial Notes:
Wilkinson and Scoble (1979) synonymized S. caryaefoliella and S. obscurella (Braun, 1912) with ostryaefoliella on the basis of the male genitalia. We remove these synonyms here and recognize three good species feeding on different hosts and having quite different DNA barcodes and morphologies. Details to be published elsewhere (From van Nieukerken et al., 2016)
